You may know her as Nicki Lewinski, Barbie, or Onika Miraj but we all know her as Nicki Minaj. She is known as the baddest bitch in the rap game hands down and some would say she is the illest period. A native of Jamaica Queens NYC, talent is something Nicki has in abundance. She can rap, sing, write and act and she is only 23. She stepped on the scene with her breakthrough appearance on The Come Up DVD and since then she has been buzzing on the streets, the Internet and in your stereo. Nicki Minaj has a Swagg of her own. She has a few personas: Nicki The Ninja, Nicki The Harajuku Barbie and Nicki the Boss. At the first sight of Nicki Minaj it is evident she is a sex symbol and some would think that her sex appeal is what got her in the position for success. That’s until you listen to her music. Her lyrical ability is over the top so its no wonder she is down with Lil Waynes, Young Money camp and is managed by Gucci Manes aunts company Mizay Entertainment. She has a refined flow, clever punch lines, intelligent metaphors and an erotic voice that can lure in any body. Her name Minaj pronounced ménage is usually confused for her sexual preference and although she is open about her attraction to both men and women the name originally comes from the wordplay of her last name Miraj.
She started as an aspiring R&B singer then turned to rap with the realization that she didn’t want to sing love songs. In 2007 she released the mix tape Playtime Is Over, 2008 The Sucka Free mix tape, and the release of her Spring 2009 mix tape Beam Me Up Scotty has her in high demand. She has collaborated with artist such as Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane, Busta Rhymes, Drake, Bobby Valentino, Jadakiss and Beyonce. Nicki Minaj is highly anticipated and although she has not yet inked a record deal she is exploring her options and Nicki the Boss is not signing to just anybody that want her. We might think she is the baddest bitch in the game right now but to her the grind is just beginning.

Just have your Swagg. You should never have to feel like you have to spend billions of dollars to be bad or to be fashionable. It is all about you. You make fashion what it is. Just have confidence and everything else should look straight on you.

6. Sneakers or heels?
To be honest I love sneakers. If I could I would never wear heels, I hate heels, they hurt me. I wouldn’t wear them unless I had to and unfortunately I have to so I wear pumps all the time when I do my shows. If you catch me at the airport or something I’m in flats not so much sneakers cuz its too damn hot but I admire sneakers on other people. 

7. What’s your favorite Brand that you would blow a stack the fastest on?
I would blow some stacks on Louis Vuitton. Guys step your Louis luggage game up for 09’ 

8. Who were you voting for in the NBA finals Dwight Howard or Kobe Bryant?
I wanted Dwight Howard to win because he seems really humble and genuine and something about him I just love his spirit.

9. Whose fragrances do you prefer, a man or woman?
I enjoy fragrances from both men and women.

10. Favorite travel vacation spot?
I like the Bahamas

11.What is your favorite party city?
I would say right now, Miami’s is a nice party place 

12. What do you drink when you are at the club?
I don’t drink but if I have to and I wanna look cool as the rappers do, I’ll sip some Rose. Everybody buys me Rose I guess they think that’s what I like.

I’m driving my White Range Rover

14. What is Nicki Minaj wearing right now?
I’m wearing a T-shirt and some sandals and cute jeans.

15.Summer or winter?
Summer, of course. I hate the cold I’m always cold I’m anemic so if I could have summer all year around then that’s what I would do.

My real name is Miraj and it’s a spin on Miraj
