Gucci Mane is So Icy

You can’t mention rappers from the A without saying Gucci Mane, and you have to say Swagg all in the same sentence because that is something he has in abundance.  Gucci Mane gave us the exclusive photos on his new neck piece and new car.  He also caught up with us to talk about his new album, his swagg, how he hooked up with Shawty Lo, his new chain and his tricked out car.  

Swagg: Your debut single was “So Icy”.  What were you doing before that? 

Gucci: I dropped ‘So Icy’ on So Icy Entertainment, before that I was an independent underground artist. I did 20 mix tapes and 3 albums. I’ve also been doing shows since I was 22 and now I’m 28 so I’ve been in it for a while now. I have a new album coming out called “Trappers Don”, this album is for everybody: white, black, Latin, I’m going international with this one. Right now, I am doing great financially.  My Jewelry game is crazy, My Car game is Crazy, and everything is Good. 
 

Swagg: The Bart Simpson Chain is Hot. Did you get it custom made and what jewellery do you like best? 

Gucci: I got that made, as far as favorites, VVS Diamonds, they are the clearest. 
 

Swagg: What is Gucci Manes Swagg? 

Gucci: My Swagg is Crazy.  I got that out-of-state Swagg.  I’m different, my Swagg is Gangsta.  If everybody is doing something, I’m doing something else.  If they are wearing white   T-s, I’m wearing black T-s. They wearing collared shirts I’m wearing v-necks. Even what I drive is different. I just got a new chain of ‘So Icy Ent.’  It took eight months to make, so I’m happy to have it now.  I’ll send you a pic, Swagg will be the first to see it before I shoot my next video. 
 

Swagg: What is your favorite Car? 

Gucci: I just got one of my cars back from the shop. It is a 98 Oldsmobile, painted candy green.  It’s a $100 000 Car. 

Swagg: What do you like to do when the cameras not rolling and your not in the booth recording? 

Gucci: I like to shop a lot, go clubbing and take vacations.

Swagg: What is your Vision? 

Gucci: When I hear a Beat my life story comes out and what’s on my mind.  I am something like Pac.  I rap about history and what’s going on.  I consider myself one of the greatest right now and people need to hear what I’m saying.  I have a crazy flow and I rap about my experiences and what’s around me. 

Swagg: You have a few Tracks with Shawty Lo.  How did y’all hook up to make that happen? 

Gucci: We met in the Mall.  We are both from Atlanta.  I’m from the East and he’s from the West.  He was in the mall in the East and we approached each other, shook hands and talked about it and then we made it happen.  We recorded a few tracks in the studio; we talk sometimes and give each other advice. 
 

Swagg: Tell me who you’ve collaborated with on your new album “Trappers Don”? 

Gucci: Beethoven produced it and on there I have: Drama Boy, Manny Fresh, Yo Gotti, Rocco, Soulja Boy and a few more.
